Creative Digital Agency Wins Multiple Awards at 2018 MMA Smarties

Mobile-First Agency brings home awards in two major categories for their work with Merck Pharmaceuticals


NEW YORK, NY — Creative Digital Agency’s work for Merck Animal Health was honored this week with two major awards from the Mobile Marketing Association’s (MMA) 2018 Smarties Awards, honoring the best and most innovative mobile marketing campaigns of the year, from all over the world.


The winning campaign — a mobile Consumer Incentives Platform called “My Vet Offers” – was honored with awards in the “Best Brand Awareness” and “Best Mobile Promotion” categories, nominated alongside major brands including Samsung, Chase, and Zyrtec.

Also this week, the campaign was nominated in multiple categories for the Effective Mobile Marketing Awards, an international event produced annually by Mobile Marketing Magazine.

Developed by mobile-first agency CDA, “My Vet Offers” involves an end-to-end mobile coupon solution for Merck Animal Health; a tool that simultaneously handles coupon distribution to pet owners and coupon redemption at retail for vet clinics.


Mario Cabrera, Executive Director of US Marketing for Merck Animal Health, describes the program as “a multichannel marketing initiative that delivers revenue-based KPIs, in real-time, at the point of sale. In addition to driving product trial, we get a flood of purchase data tied directly to individual pet owners and farmers.”

The annual Global and North America Smarties Celebration of Talent was held October 1st in New York City, hosted by actor/comedian Godfrey and attended by some of the biggest brands and agencies in the world. The event is about honoring innovation, creativity, and success, and showcasing the year’s most effective mobile moments. This winning work becomes the foundation that inspires, educates, and ultimately propels the industry forward through the most trusted authority in mobile marketing, the MMA.
